Add security to your home or small business and reduce time spent running to answer the door with this door intercom! When activated, it will ring the phones in the house with a distinctive ring, so you`ll know it`s someone at your door or gate. Once answered, you`ll have a two-way intercom conversation with the visitor.
Compatible with the Panasonic Phone Systems (#5211 and #5213R)
When used with this system, you will need to add the optional Door Phone/Opener Adapter Card to the system. This board will allow the system to control up to four intercom stations and four door contact closures for remote operation of electric door locks or gate releases. Now from the comfort of your home office, let visitors enter your property or release a door lock so that they may enter. Hook it up to the garage door opener, and open the garage door for the delivery driver to leave packages.
Electrical Connections
Use ordinary phone cable between the intercom station and the phone system. The Door Intercom will only require two conductors. For simplicity and future growth potential, use multi-conductor cable, (like Cat. 3 or 5) to connector the intercom station.
